Classic Chicago Neighborhood with plenty of historical architecture. From Beer Baron mansions to historic workman’s cottages it has a vibe all of it’s own. Excellent place to see how the locals live, shop, and eat. Plenty of vintage shops, independent restaurants, and retail. Milwaukee and Damen avenue is a great place to spend the day exploring. Overall it’s a vibrant, walkable neighborhood with plenty to eat, drink and shop.
One of the best ways to experience Wicker Park is simply by exploring it on foot. Take time to wander the side streets, browse the independent shops and galleries, relax in the park, and enjoy the neighborhood’s mix of cafés, restaurants, and live music venues. Weekday afternoons are a great time to visit if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, while evenings and weekends offer a lively community vibe.
