The Most Expensive Home Sales of 2025 – So Far

by

A $133 million Florida compound is the highest-priced sale so far this year

Coastal Florida takes the cake for the most expensive home sale of 2025 so far, with a beachfront compound in Naples going for $133 million. It’s followed by two Los Angeles estates, each fetching $110 million. Every home on this year’s top 10 list has sold for $60 million or more, with Florida and California dominating the list. The Sunshine State and the Golden State have long been ultra-luxury hotspots.

In total, Los Angeles and coastal Florida account for seven of the ten most expensive sales this year. An oceanfront estate in Hawaii, a massive Bay Area property, and a Manhattan duplex round out the list.

October’s highest-priced sale was a brand-new oceanfront estate in Delray Beach, FL, which went for $59 million. It was followed by the former Montecito home of Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo — a $57.3 million compound. Rounding out the top four was a sprawling San Diego ranch and a Miami estate purchased by the Weeknd.

  1. 701 S. Ocean Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33483: Sold for $59 million

  10. 1821 W. 27th St., Miami Beach, FL 33140: Sold for $34 million

Five of last month’s most expensive home sales were in California and four were in Florida. The lone New York home that made the cut was a historic Upper East Side mansion. All of them sold for more than $30 million.

In a market defined by economic uncertainty, limited affordability, and record wealth concentration, luxury homes are still selling quickly — even as many buyers sit out.
